WHAT'S NEXT?
From its Silver Spring campus in Montgomery County, United Therapeutics is the first publicly-traded biotech public benefit corporation (PBC). It is committed to scientific research and discovery to help cure pulmonary arterial hypertension and create an unlimited supply of manufactured organs for transplant.
United Therapeutics has submitted plans on behalf of the Montgomery County Department of Transportation for the redevelopment of the existing private surface parking lot located at 8615 Georgia Avenue, in Silver Spring, Maryland, with a new public parking garage to replace the existing Spring Cameron Garage. United Therapeutics Corporation is in the process of preparing plans for the new public garage, which will then be submitted to the Montgomery County Planning Department for review and consideration by the Montgomery County Planning Board.
The purpose of the public meeting on March 19th is to present the plans for the new Montgomery County parking garage and to give the community an opportunity for questions and comments. After the community meeting, United Therapeutics will complete the application process.
